Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav launched a sharp attack on the Yogi Adityanath government over law and order, education, healthcare, and farmers’ issues. He said the much-publicized claim of ‘zero tolerance’ on crime has now completely failed. Incidents of murder, loot, and rape are continuing unabated, and even the state capital Lucknow is no longer safe from rising crime.

Akhilesh alleged that the BJP government has pushed Uttar Pradesh towards lawlessness. He said healthcare and education systems have collapsed and hospitals lack medicines and proper treatment, while even senior doctors in major medical institutions are being forced to resign due to flawed government policies.

Highlighting the plight of farmers, he said that essential fertilizers like DAP and urea are not available on time. Farmers have been waiting for months in long queues at cooperative societies, only to return empty-handed. Instead of solving their problems, the government has unleashed police batons on them when they raise their demands.

The SP chief warned that people suffering from corruption, loot, and misgovernance are now ready to teach the government a lesson. “The public will give a strong reply in the elections,” Akhilesh declared.
