43 New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Maharashtra

Maharashtra has reported 43 new cases of COVID-19, with 35 from Mumbai and 8 from Pune. The encouraging news is that no new deaths have been recorded. Currently, the state has 209 active cases. Since January this year, a total of 300 cases have been reported, with 80% (242 cases) occurring in the month of May alone.

Mumbai alone has reported 248 cases this year, accounting for 82.67% of the total cases in the state.

According to the Health Department, 1 case was reported in January, 1 in February, none in March, 4 in April, and 242 in May. So far, 87 patients have recovered, while 4 deaths have been recorded.
