The youngster, who once honed his skills playing gully cricket in Hyderabad’s Dilsukhnagar, announced his arrival on the big stage with a sparkling 27 off 19 balls.

The results soon followed, with Rasheed smashing a memorable double-century (203 runs) in the 2024 Ranji Trophy against Hyderabad.
