In connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case, Tollywood actor Allu Arjun was interrogated by Telangana police on Tuesday. The actor, accompanied by his father Allu Aravind and legal counsel, arrived at the Chikkadpally police station around 11 AM. He left the premises at 2:45 PM, following nearly four hours of questioning.

During the interrogation, the police asked Allu Arjun whether he was aware that the authorities had not granted him permission to visit the theatre. The investigation team, led by Central Zone DCP Akshansh Yadav, also inquired about the actor’s personal security arrangements. Allegations were raised that his bouncers had reportedly pushed fans, which allegedly triggered the stampede.
Allu Arjun’s lawyer, Ashok Reddy, stated that the actor fully cooperated with the police during the questioning and is ready to comply if summoned again.

According to reports from “Gulte,” Allu Arjun became emotional during the interrogation when he was shown videos of the stampede that occurred during the special screening of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre. The actor reportedly appeared deeply moved, especially while watching scenes of the injuries sustained by Sritej and Revathi.

Tight Security Arrangements Near Police Station
In anticipation of Allu Arjun’s presence, heavy security was deployed at the Chikkadpally police station on Tuesday. Additional police forces were stationed, and traffic restrictions were imposed on roads leading to the station to ensure public safety.

The Incident
The stampede occurred on December 4 at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, resulting in the tragic death of a 35-year-old woman and injuries to her 8-year-old son, who was later hospitalized. Following the incident, a case was registered against Allu Arjun, and on December 13, the Hyderabad police arrested him. However, the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail for four weeks on the same day, leading to his release from jail on December 14.
