Ghibli Trend Goes Wrong

The viral Studio Ghibli trend is sweeping across social media, turning ordinary photos into dreamy, hand-drawn masterpieces. But sometimes, AI’s creativity takes an unexpected—and hilarious—turn.

Ghibli Trend Goes Wrong

Singer Dhanashree Patil, who boasts over 70,000 Instagram followers, eagerly hopped on the trend, hoping to see herself in a Ghibli-style transformation. However, what she got left her in splits! Instead of simply enhancing her photo with soft animation effects, the AI decided to gift her an extra leg. Yes, you read that right—three legs!

Patil had originally uploaded a picture of herself sitting gracefully on a staircase, wearing a gorgeous green gown paired with a white jacket. But the AI had other plans. Shocked yet amused by the result, she shared the blunder on Instagram, writing:
“3 legs kahase aaye? (Where did the third leg come from?)”

And just like that, the internet exploded with laughter! The post quickly went viral, racking up 10.7 million views, with users flooding the comments section with hilarious reactions. One user joked, “AI being AI,” while another quipped, “Usko tumhara pose nahi samajh aaya (It didn’t understand your pose)”.

This isn’t the first time AI-generated Ghibli art has gone off the rails. Just days ago, the tool hilariously depicted a foodie woman with three hands and even transformed a couple’s Gudi Padwa photo to include Mahatma Gandhi.

Clearly, while AI can create magical art, it still struggles with basic anatomy—and the internet is absolutely here for it!
