A video that’s now gone viral, racking up over 104 million views, shows content creator Munevver Isk Nizam dramatically hanging out of a moving train in Sri Lanka. What was supposed to be a glamorous shot of the country’s scenic rail journey quickly spiralled into chaos. As Nizam posed and sang while clinging to the doorframe of the speeding train, the door suddenly shut knocking her off.

In a shocking twist of fate, the train had just started slowing down. Nizam fell onto the tracks but, incredibly, walked away without a scratch.
She later posted the clip-on Instagram, calling it a “full comedy” and insisting the incident looked worse than it was. “The door closed on me at that moment. I was shocked. Although the train was about to stop, there was no problem,” she wrote in the caption. She also confirmed that the gasps and shouts heard in the background were very real and very unedited.

However, not everyone found it funny. While Nizam has since disabled comments on her post, the video has exploded across other platforms, igniting fierce criticism. Social media users branded the act “reckless” and “irresponsible,” slamming influencers who risk their lives just for views.

“Disaster waiting to happen,” wrote one user. “All this for a reel?”
Nizam may have narrowly avoided tragedy, but her stunt has become the latest cautionary tale in the growing trend of dangerous content creation. As the chase for viral fame continues, this incident serves as a sobering reminder: no numbers of likes is worth risking your life.
