In a swift crackdown on digital misconduct, police in Rajasthan’s Churu district arrested a 22-year-old man for allegedly posting inflammatory content on social media amid heightened tensions along the India-Pakistan border. The youth, a resident of Bajargarh, is accused of sharing provocative videos, images, and messages aimed at stirring unrest and spreading misinformation during a sensitive time for national security.

The arrest followed a focused surveillance operation by Churu’s cyber desk team, which had been closely monitoring online platforms in light of the tense border situation. District Superintendent of Police Jay Yadav confirmed that the accused was tracked down using technical intelligence and apprehended before further damage could be done.
