Fog Surprise Tourists in Mount Abu
In an unexpected twist to the usual May heat, Rajasthan’s scenic hill station Mount Abu turned into a misty retreat overnight. On Sunday, skies suddenly turned overcast, followed by light rainfall that extended into the early hours of Monday. By morning, the hill station was wrapped in thick fog, forcing vehicles to switch on headlights even in broad daylight. While the weather disrupted traffic, tourists appeared thrilled by the rare off-season chill.

Meanwhile, in Andhra Pradesh, Sunday morning rains in Vijayawada left several areas waterlogged. The city can expect more wet spells until May 7, with forecasts of light to moderate rains and occasional thunderstorms. Daytime temperatures, however, will remain hot, ranging between 41.5°C and 43°C. Authorities have advised people to avoid sheltering under trees and to stay cautious of strong winds and lightning.
